Known as the Garden State, New Jersey has a number of notable and reputable archery ranges to visit.
But since there are a lot of options, it can be difficult to know which one is best for you.
So, I’ve narrowed the list down to include only the best. And this list is based on a combination of reviews, feedback, and general reputation – so be sure to check these out!
Stark Archery
Stark Archery is one of the most reputable in New Jersey; ideal for both beginners and those more seasoned.
They offer multiple ranges, including 9 and 18 meters, and can host a range of different events from parties all the way through to corporate events.
“Very nice place to shoot. The people running the place are quite knowledgeable and want to make the visitors learn while making it fun. They had a lot of patience teaching us and making us comfy by the end of it. The rentals are really good and well maintained as well. Best place to learn Archery in NJ”

“Best private archery club in New Jersey. You have to be a member to shoot there except for Friday night’s at 7pm, which is open to the public for a ten dollar cover charge. Club meetings are on the second Monday of every month. Club dues are relatively inexpensive and well with it. Beautiful indoor range open 24 hours a day. Beautiful outdoor practice range. A 28 target nfaa field course and a 30 target 3d course.”

The Rack Shack
“Excellent local archery shop and range. Everyone there is down-to-earth, friendly, and professional. They will give you options to choose from instead of telling you what you “have to” buy. They are very honest about what they can do, offer, and what options they can set you up with. I found their prices to be very reasonable. I’ve practiced at their indoor and outdoor range. They keep up with their stuff here, which is really great to see. Always see lots of families here with small kids and they really do a great job with the littles. I’ve seen employees interact with other customers and from my vantage point, then appeared to be very helpful to others.”

The Heritage Guild of Branchburg
“Love this place! Wonderful staff, courses, amazing ranges, and well-stocked location. I wish I can come every day but the location is just far enough from me that it’s hard to get to when I get out of work so late in the evenings. I only wish their archery ranges were open on Sundays. But I cant recommend this place enough!”
